I have recently watched the film Snow Angels and I found It to be a great film that I believe many could find a way to relate to in some form or aspect. Another thing I found was, that if you could try to invision the point of view of each character of the film you would find that in many of them you could easily empathize with their predicament (the way it was filmed gave great insight into each character). First (on one side) you have the characters involved in a high school romance which for many is not a hard situation to relate to, but then (on the far side) you are witnessing what is obviously a pretty brutal civorce that involves a child (4 years) An alchoholic (possibly schitzophrenic) father who refuses to let the marriage die, and then you have Anni a single mother who is picking up the peices to make ends meet. Seeing as 62% of marriage ends in divorce (and 11% of that percentage are violent divorces involving children) I'm assuming most can relate to this as well. I was shocked to find that it would end in the particular way it did, however I had a strong feeling that it would not well. I feel that on some level I can share common ground with the character Anni (most relationships I've  been  in have been extreamly violent and so I  understand the stresses It creates for her). Sadly however I am also able to relate to a religious zealot who feels somehow exonerated and (Free of guilt or blam) forgiven by their god for the monstrosities they have commited. Also the way in which Glen killed Anni I was ble to understand as well he did it in religious reference and cleansed her feet before he led her to her death.

over all I thought It was a great film and I enjoyed watching it.

People often ask me why I would want to study forensic pathology. My usual answer is that "People aren't just going to stop dying." they often react with disgust and assume something just went wrong with my childhood. in fact it was something I have been fascinated with since  I was a child yet, not in such specific terms. I have always had a curiosity with human anatomy and physiology since I can remember. It started with my father taking me out hunting, the first season we baged a mule deer. my father showed me how to gut the animal and then preceded to explaining all the internal organs and there functions. It was pretty gory, yet I wanted to know more. as a young child I would look at the medical text books my father provided me and  re draw the pictures that looked interesting.

later on in life before my 13th birthday my father died and there were issues surrounding his death that were never divulged to me. my mother never allowed me to view the autopsy report or the death certificate. she only told me that he died of a heart attack. although I was the one who found the body they would not let me understand the details. It has always bothered me and since then I have had an even greater drive to understand the human body and the diseases that bring them to a halt.

when I have time to myself I study and take notes on books about epidemiology, diseases, and natural medicine, human anatomy, as well as physiology, in a hope to better come to understand my feild of study and possibly make a firm career of it. Now all I have to do is select a collage that offers pre med or possibly medical bio-ethisism. I feel like I finally have a clear vision of my career and I now just have to find a way to make it happen.
