Self evaluation is a critical life skill you need to develop. You are expected to complete a self evaluation for each major assignment you complete.

You have two options for sharing the results of this form with your parents: Provide an email address so I can forward it to them, or I will print it for them to sign. Either way, I will include my own comments and corrections if necessary. It will be best for everyone if I don't have to include corrections in my comments. Just a hint.

Passing

10 - Excellent
All parts of the assignment exceed the standard. Additional parts may be added. Work shows deep understanding and insight.

9 - Very good
All parts of the assignment are completed. Many or most parts of the assignment exceed the standard and your work shows thorough understanding of the material.

8 - Acceptable

It does not shine brightly, but all parts of the assignment are completed
with enough attention to detail and accuracy that it is good enough. This is the minimum standard for passing. Work shows understanding.

Not passing

7 - Below standard
Assignment may be missing parts, or may have all the parts but quality may be an issue. Work has problems that need to be addressed.

4 - 6 - Well below standard
Assignment is half finished or it is obvious that you didn't care enough about it to bother trying to do well.

0 - 3 - Ungradable
Work is done to such poor quality that it is not gradable. Assignment is barely started or not started at all.
