some of the factors that drew people to the us would be to find a job, a better job, or perhaps a better economy.

 some times people moved to the us becasue they lived in a unstable or maybe even dangerous country they also moved to avoid being caught in a war.

short fact-------%30 of all residents in new york, chicago, boston, cleaveland, minianapolis and san francisco are foriegn born residents.

some other factors people are drawn to the us are, the country is more prospourous, its less crowded, or even to take advantage of our schools.

some people even move to the us to avoid political persecution, new opportunities, or even to rejoin, help or make a family.

dreams of getting rich

receive free land thru homestead act

personal freedom

free school for eveyone

no drafting

citizens may take part in the democratic government
